Limited Edition Watercolors...Joy of Technology

Dear Friends,

I have been selling my Limited Edition watercolors. I use an established printer in Falls Church, VA. They do work (among tiny users like myself) for Smithsonian. I'm so thrilled with the results. However they do not make cards (grumble grumble). I do plan to continue to work with these printers here, locally.

I am pulling together a team to help me make and print very high quality cards as I write this entry.

Meanwhile this lovely edition has sold. It will be a surprise birthday gift for someone. I love that its so high quality paper and ink and will last and last. And its affordable and collectible!!!

Another kind of joy I feel from painting is the immeasurable kind received when another person
likes my pieces. Immeasurable flow.

There are more of these Limited Editions of most of my originals, signed and dated, available in my etsy shop.

Not much other news than I've mentioned on Facebook.  I am nursing two root canals. One has proven to be a bit of an angry root. So I have been on penicillin and Aleve.

Been baking pumpkin bread with added walnuts and chocolate. mmmmm...Autumn flavors!!!

Carolyn Shepard Miller Watercolors are Available in my Etsy Shop!

I've been busy busy painting. I paint with rich color using excellent tools. I create my paintings with every fiber in my being. It is gift for which I am eternally grateful.

I am so thrilled to be back full speed.

...I am over the moon about switching to my true love- painting.

More-so I feel grateful for the original watercolors I have sold thru my etsy shop.

Good news. Aside from Limited Editions I will be offering cards soon. It's an easy and sweet way to collect my work and share it with loved ones.

Good Snowy Mornning!

It looks like we received about 3" of fresh snow here outside of D.C. Walking the dogs is always a fun challenge. Ginger usually decides she'd like to take flight on me and pulls the leash.

A neighbor boy ran up (from sledding down a nearby hill) and asked, Do they like the snow? Right then he put his gloved hands out and covered both faces with snow as he pet them. :-)

Thank you so much for continuing to support my etsy shop, now named CarolynShepardMiller, and grab my dwindling jewelry pieces! I will be mailing a cuff and spinner ring out today.

In other news, my pieces (watercolors) are home from the frame shop and I am so pleased! Really looking forward to the reception on February 13. If you live in the area PLEASE come by!!!

My newest watercolors can be viewed to the right of this entry.

more soon! xoxoxo

Big News From My Small Studio

A dear friend, Sandra, has invited me to attend Waverly Street Gallery's 20/20 show. The reception will be on February 13th. Please come if you can!

I will have 5 watercolor pieces on exhibit and available for sale. Each are one-of-a-kind and will not have printed editions.

I will update as I get more information :-) (my pieces are currently at an artist-run frame shop as I type this). Will give out information about the shop soon too!

It snowed today. I took the pups on one of their three walks. Ginger was hopping in the air chomping at the flakes, this gave me severe belly laughs!

After our walk I grabbed my digi cam, dusted it off, added batteries and had a wonderful, solitude walk. I didn't feel alone~ quite the opposite. The beauty was everywhere the eye could see. The snow was falling so I grabbed a few shots to share with you.

drats, issues uploading my snow pics. Will try again later!
