Discount and New Rings in Shop

Hello Friends,
This is probably the longest I've gone without blogging. The pollen feels off the charts here near DC, I've been taking Claritin each morning which seems to fend off the worst offenders.

Ginger has grown longer and is over 14 lbs! She is such a joy to have in our lives we feel so blessed :-) This morning she has pulled the stuffing out of a pillow from the couch, and then she found a friend

I took a Southwest Ring making class 2 weekends ago with Richard Salley. It was fantastic. Though I knew most of the major principals in ring making, stone setting of this sort, there was one tip that I consider invaluable and will be using it from now on. The class was so inspiring. I got to hang out with my buddy Jodi, and meet some new people from the smithing world. I took the workshop through ArtBliss, you can google them they are in the DC Area and have workshops scheduled for the Fall.

Made a new turquoise ring on Monday, will be listing 2 new turquoise rings later today after I get some photos.

All of these cabs will (most likely) soon be rings

Thanks to my awesome hair stylist, Jenny, from Aveda in Reston, my roots match my hair this morning :-)

I hope everyone is having a wonderful season.

I am now hosting a 20% discount on your total purchase (minus shipping) in my Etsy shop, AutumnLeavesJewelry. Use the code MemorialDay to receive this discount.

Onto my day....hugs!

In other news we are celebrating my father in laws 87th birthday, here, tomorrow, it should be super fun.

Recently I took lessons and learned to properly shoot a gun. I'll post a video here soon...I was told I don't flinch, I really enjoyed it and feel I could handle one if ever needed.
(now if I could get over my fear of thunderstorms...)

Ginger is staring at me awaiting her overdue dinner so off I go to feed and walk her :-)
