Unplugged from facebook

Goodbye cyber highway overload.

Back to basics. My family has been at its breaking point for some time now and I'm turning back to the simplicity of creating art, offering it up to any soul who would love it. I want to continue with this lovely passion as long as I am able.

Someone summed up my feelings of late as Empathy Fatigue
sometimes we choose our disasters and react accordingly
sometimes we  have no choice

Going to miss you girl.
Be well, and tend that soul and that family of yours.

I feel it too from time to time, empathy fatigue is such an appropriate description. Hoping you feel better soon. A reminder to me as well to put on some good music and swing a hammer and play in the garden:)

I'll miss reading your blog. I totally understand the feelings you're having.
I haven't blogged since November of last year.
Hope to keep up with you on Facebook. Take care of yourself and your family. That's always the top priority.

I'm glad that you'll be continuing with your blog, Carolyn.
I'm not sure why I misunderstood. Must be the oppressive heat that we're having here in Kentucky~~~fried my brain.

Hi Care, I missed you and wondered if you were ok. I have had it with FB as well and will unplug soon. I am happy that it isn't just me. I am on such an overload trip that I almost can't cope anymore so something has to go, We are leaving 7/2 on an 8 week RV trip to the east coast. John will be competing in a gun competition at Camp Perry and I will be playing with metal - everyone's happy. Hugs to you and I know I will feel so good when I take this step. Sal

I was wondering what happened to you. I got worried. I haven't been reading blogs as I usually do.
Hope you are OK. Will miss seeing your posts all the time.
If you need anything just ask.
Sending virtual hugs!

Funny, blogs used to seem like they were sort of "fast" now they feel so slow and laid back...

I still remember getting graded in early grade school for penmanship...ha!
