Pumpkin Cookies and Metal

Caroline of the Prairie's
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

14 1/2 oz. can pumpkin
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil (I use canola with good results)
2 tsp. milk (who knows why? just do it!!)
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
4 cups all-purpose flour
4 tsp. baking powder
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips (for fun, I use extra dark sometimes)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine first nine ingredients in large bowl. Blend flour and baking powder, then add to mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.

Bake at 375 degrees 10-15 minutes. These will be soft, and scrumptious!!!!!! They do freeze well.

I'm working on these, more goodies for tomorrow

what's everyone cooking?

(oh...the dreaded vacuum and mop await me!!!)

The cookies look really good & the metal looks good enough to eat. We're not having the "traditional" Thanksgiving dinner, but I plan on taking pics & doing a blog post about it.

Have a great Thanksgiving!!!

Pam, I just traded half of them for some fresh sage from a neighbor, I was not going to battle another trip to the store for sage...o.0
I can't wait to see what you are having for Thanksgiving! :-)
I'm stuffed, oy

You are adorable- will definitely try the recipe I love pumpkin and chocolate chips together (I have a muffin recipe I make quite often).

Really digging the leaves, can't wait to see them with the stones.

Enjoy your holiday, we're off to MIL's tomorrow and then I'll cook our Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday (I like to have leftovers and make my family favorites just for us:)

Have a nice day at your MILs Susie! The only thing I would change/add to the recipe are nuts, as in walnut pieces, mmmmmm...

Nay, I was, while I was cooking my kitchen was hot, esp with the sun pouring in...for my trade(running over to neighbors the sweat pants and down coat were on) :D THANK YOU Snow Princess of BISBEE! :P I am royal! (dang) What's my first royal duty???

must ponder this...

As the Queen of Yummie (not yummy because you are super unique) Cookies your first royal duty is to make more yummy cookies for Thanksgiving and to make sure all your friends and family eat them. Your second duty is to make a poppy stacking ring size 7 for your etsy shop so that the Snow Princess of Bisbee can purchase it ;)

WAH LOL, that's easy! Ooooo well...I shall do that after Thanksfgiving...Snow Princess...does it ever snow in Bisbee???

um, do I havfe an official title? Can it be metal related?

Hubby's on his way home early, quick, I must put sweat beads along my brow and make like I'm vacuuming...

An official title that is metal related.

Queen of Yummie Metal & Cookies??
Metal Smith Queen of New England (are you technically in New England??)
Queen of Metal Goodness
The Royal Queen of Kinetic Metal Things (try saying that 5 times really fast)

Do you like any of those?

And yes it snows in Bisbee. Usually just a dusting, and it usually melts by mid afternoon. Though kids usually get a snow day out of it :)
I will post a pretty show picture on FB for you

Wow this cranberry sauce is good...mmmm...

Well...we're in the mid to north east, defintely not New England, Definitely not Southern we're Mid Atlantic I know, right next to DC, our nations capitol.

I think Pumpkin Metal Princess would be fine :D

so, if the kids get a dusting? does that mean they play in snow with some dirt? (i'm sure it's so pretty though)

You are the Pumpkin Metal Princess (you sure you don't want to be a queen?).

*takes virtual sword and places it on your left shoulder, and then your right* POOF you are now a Princess!!!

Now go about your royal duties!
