Work in Progress

to share with you...a container...

soon

There are a few components I'm building to finish this piece, and when I work on this piece time evaporates. It's a painting in 3D and it's a story of the movement of freedom.

It snowed yesterday and we both worked, he in his office, me in my studo. I stole time to read and enjoy some stories a friend sent me, she is quite talented (and publiished...and incredibly sweet)

My new vacuum really sucks!

2 of our cats ventured out in the snow this morning...sort of...

...it lasted only a few seconds! :P

Hi Jaim! It doesn't surpirse me you are a fan. (thank you!)One of the first pendants I sold on Etsy was an embelished sterling silver bezel with resin and her photo...

I'm still working on the last details and I want to take my time...

it's so much fun

Care. Yay!! Yay!! Yay!! Love it!!!! You have such a great imagination & you're talented enough to figure out how to make it out of metal. Still don't know how you do everything you do with your little torch. I'm forever struggling with mine.

Thanks Pam, (I do attend a class almost once a week (for the past several years off and on...and there...I have access to so many tools and torches and an amazing teacher!) Though it is amazing what I get done at home, which is much. :-) makes me appreciate the big girl torch all the more! I'd say most of this was made in the studio in Alexandria, but the little components and finishing here...*throws lots of pretty snow onto Pam's lawn*
Julia (thank you) it is finished. I'll take pics in the morning light, I hope we have good morning light.

Carolyn, you're having soo much fun I can tell! Another gorgeous creation almost completed....can't wait to see the finished item.

Love those paw prints in the snow....so cute! We're nursing our beautiful cat Snowy at the moment, while he recovers from an infected abscess on his back. He's been so patient and brave. We love him very much. Give your furry friends a squeeze for me.

{Maryann} I can only imagine how lucky your Snowy is! You're a good kitty mommy! (I'll tell mine mew from you!)
Susie, I love this piece, or I should say pieceS...the more I move into the art side of metal the more energy and freedom I feel. (if that makes sense!)

Everyone is saying how much they love your new piece. Am I the only one who loves the way you look in cat ears?

Oh dear hubby! I love you so much! They have seen these ears over and over! :P (but thank you!) I plan to start collecting them in different colors to match my outfits...yes you married a strange soul- but you've known that.

I'm finally going to show pics of my Alice piece in a new post :-)
