Tokens of Love in Metal

Through a sweet Canadian customer the realization came that my golf ball markers are really tokens of love. A way to ask someone something very very special (did I really really need that extra very in there? sure why not...) With her permission I'll get pics later today and show you what I mean.

I'm also daydreaming of Black Eyed Susans in metal as pendants.

If the weather holds I'll be swimming laps later.

Care-I just posted my black eyed Susan bracelet I have been working on in my blog-great minds think alike. I have them growing all over our yard, and I love them since I am a Susan. Hoping to get her done today and finish up a very simple leaf pendant today after work. Have a good one, swim some laps for me!

I have black eyed susans on the brain as well, they are EVERYWHERE in full bloom here in NH! I hope you found some friends to play with yesterday Care (I got your email, but sadly could not play)

Care- my black eyed Susan is going to be a braclet, and everything I make while I'm learning is just for me, so make your pendant how you like! I think it's cool we all are on the same wavelength from all over America -I'm looking at my little vase filled with my backyard flowers, and it will make my work a little more pleasant today. Have a good one!
P.S. You swim half a lap for me, and I'll bike a mile for you, deal?

Laps & running?? I'm going to refill my hummingbird feeders today. There's a little cardio involved because the hummers are ducking & diving (so am I).
Black Eyed Susans....lurve them.

I've never had hummingbirds go so crazy before. It usually takes them several days to find the feeders, then I end up pouring out most of the solution every week & making new solution. My new feeders have them going a little crazy & I have to refill them every coupld of days. I love it though, they're fun.

Pam that's very sweet! We don't keep bird feeders around the house, because of Bart :-/ I do love seeing the butterflies on the butterfly bush...
