Trying to capture nicer pics of the Sterling Silver Ring Dishes, still working on it, these were taken inside, on fine China, I still think I like the stark contrast of the deep red as apposed to this dainty pink. What do you think?
I feel the red makes the siver stand out more. I've been having such a hard time with my jewelry pics of late too. I have some pieces made, but I haven't posted them, due to the photos...argh!
Personally, I like the red better - it makes the piece pop. When it's on the china, it reminds me more of a tea bag holder, which I suppose could be another use for it.
ON an unrelated topic, did you make that sterling bowl? I raised a bowl once. Lots of hammering. LOTS of annealing. It's a fun project....you should try it if you didn't make this one.
Feeding cats, trying to figure out what they're really thinking and snuggling with the little critters keeps me occupied when I'm not metalsmithing, painting, reading, perusing shops for beautiful Vintage items to sell on Etsy. Basically I love to create art. Spring brings blossoms and the racing grid heats up. The Mini, hubby and I are ready to race! Our daughter is a talented fashion designer who studied at FIT in NYC.

Gee Care, I dunno. I like both looks. They are completely different, but I can't decide.
Hey Lisa how are you? I'm thinking of keeping the red background, it's throughout my shop...not sure...(going over to your blog to see what's up)

Thanks guys, I went with the reds, and ended up choosing hand held pics for feature pics...
I'm a little late, but I like the red too
