Hi Ladies! Thanks so much I'm happy with it. I'll be driving my neighbors bonkers later with the hammer as I make another...:P You guys who live in the country are very lucky!
Carolyn, Your new venture is lovely! Glad to hear your taking some new classes- don't you love the thought/ideas that get flowing and seeing what everyone is doing with a particular class concept. As much as I love learning new techniques from the teacher- I think seeing everyone else interpretation is just as cool! Keep us posted (and drooling too). Susan
morning Susan :-) I do love it, taking classes, and in these classes we are all at various levels. There is a woman who has been an instructor for 16 years, she's there as a student, and there are very beginning artists. It's very inspiring!
Lol hello Plume, why thank you! :-) Yes I did! And I am hooked on them...oy yes the annealing and hammering and back and forth, but it is sooo soothing to make the metal move little by little...
Feeding cats, trying to figure out what they're really thinking and snuggling with the little critters keeps me occupied when I'm not metalsmithing, painting, reading, perusing shops for beautiful Vintage items to sell on Etsy. Basically I love to create art. Spring brings blossoms and the racing grid heats up. The Mini, hubby and I are ready to race! Our daughter is a talented fashion designer who studied at FIT in NYC.
