home from trying on swimming suits

wow
yeah...so, i purchased a 2 piece, as in a tankini top and a bottom with a skirt. last week i began to swim (laps) and noticed right away that my (old) bikini (HAHAHA) would not do! so, after a couple of hours at Macy's (yes they have amazing sales and a big selection) i finally settled on this suit.

you will never ever see me in this swimming suit -_0

i've been steadily dropping weight and so happy about it, UNTIL...i looked in the mirror at Macy's with the suit on...those mirrors are sooo evil - hence my expression in the photo aping Dr Evil

so...that's it for me today, mailed a ring, (i was so thrilled as it was already made and is a gift for someone!)

other than that...this diet is making me grumpy...

what diet are you doing? are you working out as well?? I have been counting calories and eating so healthy... no soda in 2 wks and no choccy either... salads, veggies and protiens. I haven't dropped a pound I'm so frustrated, then ofcourse I just wanted to eat an entire cheesecake which I didn't. I think I need to work out more than my usual routine which is really just taekwondo 3 days a week.. congrats on the weight loss and I hope it continues!!

Hi it's called the no ice cream, no bread, very low carb diet, it's just me eating salads every day and whole (real) foods for meals and snacks, like an apple instead of any chocolate, etc. I've dropped 10 lbs, it's been about 2 weeks...I would love to lose 10 more, and gain more muscle. :O I think your routine oof taekowndo is amazing! i'm hoping to swim and walk it off, would love to get back into lifting free weights, i was in such incredible shape when i did that! :) until then, here's to passing up that huMONGO bowl of ice cream!!! *hugs*

Jaim, it's the weight i put on after the weight I put on, if you know what I mean, now I'm back to just trying to get back to the weight i'll be happy at! (as if that makes any sense!) :P
Lisa I would love a salad recipe, the one I make for myself is sooo basic, but it has all the goodies I need like flaxeed, etc...
Okay, Etsy order to get out today! :-)

HAHAHAHA! No swimming suits for me! I won't even wear shorts! I figure nobody wants to see all the hail damage on my legs and butt!

UGH! The dreaded swimsuit dilemma!!! They gotta bring back the full bodysuits from the 1920s! LOL

OOOOOOO evil mirrors!!! Booo Hisss. I'm glad the tankini's are popular, some are really pretty & much more comfortable than a lot of the others.

Congrats on the weight loss. I have a thyrois problem so the thought of losing 10 lbs in 2 weeks is amazing. Heck, 10 lbs in 2 months is crazy to me.

Tammy...LOL....hail damage.....LOL

Oh Care it makes PERFECT sense. I am trying to get back to the weight I was before I put on 16 pounds ( I was trying to lose THEN!)

Thx care.. I'm thinking about uping my tkd routine to add another day. I have been eating salads daily and low carbs as well but not enough excersize me thinks... arggg. I think I have dropped some inches, just not lbs.. I like to think of it as muscle ways more than fat hehe.. but I'm delusional..
keep up the good work.. the swimming is probly the best thing you can do.. :) so nice to see you on facebook.. I love your status reports..
