Classes start...this week!

Back to my favorite place away from home~ smithing class. I'm really looking forward to it.

Though the studio is stocked with tools from little to huge machines, I always bring my own personal tools like my ring mandrels and jewelry files, even my drill bits.

Looking forward to adding new techiniques and fine tuning others.

crikey I feel like a giddy school girl! :P

FUN! The only class I ever took was for soldering & metal safety. I taught myself all different types of stone setting, finishing, etc. I would really love to take a class on casting though!!

Lucky, lucky girl....*sigh. I'm so envious of you & know you're going to have a great time. I wish I could find a class around here, but I can find nothing. Can't wait to see your new skills.

Well, I'm jealous too! I've never taken a class, so I'll just have to learn from you!

Have a blast. I'm very lucky where I live because our association is always offering classes in all areas of smithing. I usually take them in the winter when I'm back in Green Valley. It is so satisfying to keep on learning and producing!! Hugs and Happy 4th. Sal

Class are so much fun. I just blogged about the class I am taking. So...how do you not share your personal tools? I lost a pair of pliers.

Hi Ladies!!!!!!!!!!! I had fun, it's a multi-level class and it's thru The Art League in Alexandria, VA. It's a bit of a drive (because of traffic around here) but worth it.
Pam I had access to lots of big girl torches today, lol! (with incredible vent systems) I now remember how much faster/easier solding is with the right amount of fire force.
Next week he'll go over stone settings, so I'll be paying close attention. Today he had a very beg. class so I focused on my stuff. He then makes rounds to help you at the level you're at with your project. I learned an easy way to make a lid fit onto my lil round boxes.
You guys who've never had a class or barely any AMAZE me at you talent!!!
Jaim he was teaching severl beginning techniques, one of which made me think of you...sawing those little round jump rings. If only they could all see your vlog tut! :P
Sal you are very lucky my dear!!! You know what traffic is like her, nyah!
Back to reality, the cats are out of food and their litter is low...I need to get other groceries. Time to put on my house frau face.

hi Vicki! I tape all my tool handles and use a red sharpie to put my initials on...and then I pretend that I bite if anyone comes near :O JK There are so many tools there's really no need to lend mine out...
